Week 12 Commissioner's Picks

Lions over the Packers. Detroit has been known for upsets on Turkey Day and this is another checkpoint on their improvement and chances for the playoffs.

Dolphins over the Cowboys. Romo will have a tough defense to figure out and Miami is on a role.

49ers over the Ravens. 49ers win this civil war because they are more balanced.

Rams over the Cardinals. Don’t know, don’t care.

Jets over Buffalo. Both of these teams are like Shakespearian epic tragedies, with plenty of blood and guts and egos and highs and lows. Jets are more sound and balanced.

Falcons over the Vices. Falcons fighting for something.

Panthers over the Colts. The Colts seem to have Luck sewed up, but you can never be too sure.

Titans over the Bucs. Bucs are in disarray. Titans still in it.

Texans over the Jags. Texans staggered by loss of their quarterback, but Jags are too inconsistent to take advantage.

Bengals over the Browns. Bengals in the hunt. Browns are the hunted.

Raiders over the Bears. Long trip west, new quarterback. Looks ominous for the Bears.

Seahawks over the Redskins. There, I’ve done it. I’ve picked the Seahawks.

Tebows over the Chargers. Tebow has more will than the Chargers can muster.

Patriots over the Eagles. The Eagles are a scary bunch, but as much so to their own fans as to opponents.

Steelers over Chiefs. Biggest mismatch of the week.

Saints over the Giants. Giants always seem one stupid loss from total implosion.
