The Commissioner's Picks

The first six games seem like locks; Eagles over Texans, Packers over 49ers, Saints over the Bungles, Jags over an emotionally depleted Titans, Chiefs over the flailing Broncos, and the improving Bears over the Lions.

The Browns will give the Dolphins trouble, but the Fins are still in the hunt  and are at home.

I think Minnesota is gassed, and Buffalo has played everyone tough. That might be a scary game for the Pats down the road. Buffalo takes it in a squeaker.

The Giants take the Redskins fairly easily as Donovan's time in Washington draws to a close. The same with the Chargers over the unpredictable Raiders.

If Arizona had anything left, if would have won last week. The Rams are on the upswing a bit.

The Cowboys could give the Colts a game, but the Colts need a win badly and they are at home.
Seattle sucks, but Carolina sucks more and they are playing away.

The last three games will be very interesting. All should be close and all could go either way. I am picking the home team in each. Tampa Bay squeezes by the Falcons, Baltimore beats a gimpy Steelers team, and the Pats lead by 14 late, but end up winning by 4.
