1. It's Kevin and Marc, but Things are Tightening. Kevin leads Marc by 7, 191 to 184, but after that the group is tightening up. Seven members are grouped within 177 to 181. Diane's fine week brought her to 180 points and fourth place. Jo is now in sixth place with 178.
2. Diane Wins the Week. Diane had 11 points for the week, with Jo close behind with 10. This brings both into the group of 7 mentioned above.
3. Kirk and Sean Advance. Both Kirk and Sean have been making strides in the past few weeks and it is beginning to pay off. Kirk is now third with 181 points, only 10 points off the leader, and Sean with 179 points is now tied with Wayne and Mike for fifth place.
4. The Commissioner's Sign-off is Irish, not sacrilegious. It was the custom of Irish and Scottish clan leaders to announce, "It is the O'Leary saying this," or "It is the MacGregor saying this" to indicate that the ruling was officially a clan policy and not simply one man's opinion. The Commissioner uses this rhetorical device in the interests of clarity, nothing more.
5. Omaha May be Back, But He is No More Accurate. He makes a sensitive point about gender bias of which all in the league should be proud, but he errs when calling out Ed and Marcus. It is Ed and Lucas who are behind the broads in the league.
