Karen Gonyea Receives The Millie

Congratulations go to Karen Gonyea, also known as "Big Red," for receiving The Millie award for winning the regular season.

For the 2018-19 season, Karen amassed 188 points, outpacing husband Wayne (187), Ed (185), and Patrick and Mike (181).

Karen averaged 11.1 points per week, and consistency was her deciding factor. "Every point is important in the league results," she said, adding "I could feel the competition every week."

A big part of that was her husband Wayne's competitive nature. They jostled for the lead most every week.

Karen has had some strong seasons, and it is gratifying to see her break through with the Millie. On behalf of the central staff, we welcome you into the winner's circle.
